Plano Senior Activities, On-Site and Off-Site

Activities for our 55+ community run the gamut, from exercise classes and yoga to book clubs and live entertainment in the event center. Men’s and women’s groups meet regularly, and lectures and discussions give residents something new to think about.

Gardening and walking trails keep things active outdoors, and day trips reach beyond the gate to places like Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary in McKinney or Celebration Park in Allen.

For something closer, Galleria Dallas and White Rock Lake are both a short drive for shopping or a scenic walk. For residents who want to venture further, True Connection Communities’ Travel Club opens the door to cruises, tours of the American Southwest, and seasonal trips throughout the year.

Activities aren’t just off-site, either. Plenty happens right here at The Oaks.
